Information handled by Pomo Quest
Pomo Quest lets users enter or create:
- An optional adventurer profile name
- Tiny Quest text written by the user
- Timer settings, preferences, status, and completion history
- Focus-session counts and streaks
- Chosen adventurer characters and earned collectibles
- Alarm and accessibility preferences
This information is stored locally in Chrome storage on the user's device so Pomo Quest can remember settings and progress.
Information not collected or transmitted
Pomo Quest does not:
- Send user information to AI Untangled Media or any external server
- Create user accounts
- Use analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking
- Sell or share user information
- Read browsing history or website content
- Collect precise location, financial information, authentication information, health information, or personal communications
- Execute remotely hosted code
How locally stored information is used
Locally stored information is used only to provide Pomo Quest's visible features, including timers, profiles, Tiny Quests, statistics, streaks, collectibles, alarms, notifications, and preferences.
Data retention and deletion
Information remains in local Chrome storage until the user changes or deletes a profile, clears the extension's local storage, or removes Pomo Quest. Removing the extension may permanently delete its locally stored data.
Chrome permissions
- Alarms: schedule timer and snooze events
- Storage: save settings, profiles, timer state, streaks, and collectibles locally
- Notifications: show an optional completion alert
- Offscreen: play bundled alarm audio while the popup is closed
- Power: keep the display awake during an active timer
- Text-to-speech: speak an optional completion reminder
Pomo Quest requests no website access or host permissions.
Children's privacy
Pomo Quest does not knowingly collect or transmit personal information from children or adults. Information entered into the extension remains locally on the user's device. A parent or guardian can remove the extension or clear its local data at any time.
Security and third parties
Pomo Quest does not transmit user information and does not provide user information to third parties. Its code, images, and alarm sound are packaged with the extension.
Pomo Quest's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide and improve the extension's single user-facing purpose.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Pomo Quest's features or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
